In the past, not only was Tofu House much cheaper, but they also served about 3 times more side dishes for free. I guess they figured they could cut some corners while jacking up the price and still make good business as around the time I discovered this Asian gem, customers were booming. And for good reason.
Even if you're not a tofu fan, you will love this. Although not as plentiful years ago, the choices customers have over the way they want their meal and drinks prepared is still great. Whether you just want water, tea, barley drink, etc. or you want your meal extremely spicy, spicy, mild, or not spicy at all, it is not a problem. If you have an adventurous tongue, Tofu House is right up your alley. When your meal arrives, you are presented with tofu in a soybean broth with a dense cornucopia of meat, seafood, vegatables, etc. In fact, the broth is still bubbling hot and it is suggested that you immediately crack one of their eggs into the soup (optional of course). The free side dishes are great too (includes the obligatory kimchi). Highly recommended.
